Dr. Dyer is OMM chair
Robin R. Dyer, D.O., has been named chair of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She is an associate professor and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Osteopathy Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
Diener to direct surgery residency program
Brian Diener, D.O., assistant professor of surgery, has been named program director for the General Surgery residency program at the OSU Medical Center, pending approval by the Education Council of the American Osteopathic College of Surgeons. He is a 2001 graduate of the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.

CME sets record
The OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Continuing Medical Education’s 12th Annual Emergency Medicine Review in June drew 345 participants, the largest number of participants ever, says Cyndi Canning, CME program specialist. Among them were 22 specialties represented, from 22 states including Alaska. “Our next CME event will be the 26th Annual Primary Care Update Nov. 13-15,” Canning said.
